Dental Examinations

exams

If you would like to prevent dental problems and keep your smile healthy, it is essential to visit our dental office for routine dental exams.

According to the American Dental Association, you should visit the dentist at least every six months for a check-up; however, you may need to visit our office more frequently depending on your personal dental needs. We are pleased to offer the benefits of advanced technology such as Cone Beam CT which is a 3D-digital x-ray that allows us to see images in the head and neck from multiple angles and views and Intaoral Cameras which show decay and cracks, as well as the 20 year expertise of Dr. Jeffrey D. Clark at Scottsdale Dental Excellence.

Dental exams are designed to identify the signs of dental problems at the earliest possible stage in hopes of preventing unplanned problems and pain.  Dr. Jeffrey Clark and his experienced dental team will check for damage such as:

  • Cracks and chips
  • Tooth wear from bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching)
  • Old or failing dental restorations
  • Tooth decay and cavities
  • Periodontal disease (gum disease)
  • Oral Cancer Screening
  • Sleep Apnea Risk Assessment
  • Blood Pressure Readings
  • Malocclusion
  • Pathology in the Head and Neck

Our office utilizes safety and sterile instrument procedures at all times and provides water filtration for every patient! We also collect and dispose of all hazardous waste material and metals in accordance with all governing agencies.
